Hi Everyone,

The meeting earlier this evening was great, lots of good advice about
security at all levels and layers, as well as some war stories.
Attendance was better than I had hoped, and both speakers were
enlightening and even funny. My thanks to David Haltermon of GuardEra
Access Solutions and Jim Holmes of NuSoft Solutions. Thanks also to
Tim Nolan for the hospitality and use of the room in the Raymond
Walters annex.

The summit was a delayed January meeting, we'll be having our
regularly scheduled meeting for February on the 27th at 6:30 pm at
KiZAN. Jim Holmes will be returning, delving into specific
programming tactics with "Security Fundamentals for Software
Developers." Jim mentioned to me this will involve mostly .Net code,
but the concepts he'll illustrate are applicable to most languages
and platforms.

We're also due for elections at this coming meeting, who's got the
notes on which seats are up this year?

Thank You,
Troy
