Construction Software Technologies, Inc., located in the Blue Ash area
of Cincinnati is a new member of the Cincinnati Programmer's Guild email

Senior .NET Architect
iSqFt/Construction Software Technologies (CST) is looking to hire a
Senior .NET Architect to implement a complete redesign of CST's
proprietary web based software application and assist in other software
development projects. The Senior .NET Architect candidate must have a
strong working knowledge of the .NET framework. The best candidate will
have experience architecting solutions in both Classic ASP (Active
Server Pages) and ASP.NET. Experience with a Classic ASP to ASP.NET
migration will be important in the redesign of the existing application.
The Senior .NET Architect will add new scalable features and functions
for a large number of concurrent users. The best candidate will have
also worked within a SQL Server 2000 or 2005 back-end environment. From
a .NET perspective, experience with C#, ADO.NET, and Web Services is a
plus. Object oriented programming (OOP) and design pattern experience
will be a critical component to the success of this role. Establishing
and driving large scale application standards through the SDLC. If the
candidate has more experience in VB.NET along with having limited
experience architecting solutions in C#, that is fine as well. 

CST's software product relies on large scale customer data management
where thousands of concurrent users require a large volume of data.
Strong candidates should understand how customer needs and business
strategy effect software development. Additionally, candidates should
have expertise in the development of multiplatform distributed
applications and object orientated programming.

developers with significant coding experience. 

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

*  3+ years experience architecting solutions within a .NET Framework

*  3+ years working with Classic ASP and ASP.NET, implementing a
migration from Classic ASP to ASP.NET 

*  3+ years experience architecting and developing solutions in C# 

*  3+ years experience architecting solution with SQL Server 2000 or
2005 as the back-end environment

*  3+ years experience coding HTML, Java Script and XML

*  2+ years of development experience with e-Commerce applications using
Web Services and SOAP

*  1+ years experience coding AJAX

*  Working knowledge of software testing

*  Ability to work well with others

*  Ability to give both technical and non-technical presentations

*  Ability to lead multiple team projects at once through to completion
and maintaining manageable solutions

*  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Other valued skills that are nice to have include:

*  Ability to drive the entire software architecture of an application 

*  Experience working with and/or coding VB.NET, VB 6.0, DHTML, XSLT 

*  Experience in Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence (BI) environment 

Training and Educational Requirements:

*  4 year degree preferred and/or equivalent experience architecting web
based solutions

*  Certifications that are a plus to have are MCSD, MCAD, MCSE
